Team project with after effects.

Question

Hello,

So in our company we are considering starting to use Adobe team projects for after effects. So I wanted to learn some basics of it.

For a start where does the after effects project (The team project), where does it get saved. Like can we get the .aep file ? Or can we actually dictate the location as to where it gets saved and where the auto save folder is and all that.

Hi John,A Team Project gets saved locally to a Database and is periodically synced to the cloud. The database is not an .aep file and not really human readable. If you want keep a local version of the Project for archiving or save keeping reasons you can convert a Team Project to a local .aep project (Edit > Team Project > Convert Team Project to Project).The location where the database lives can currently not be chosen and will be located here:Windows: C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Team Projects Local Hub\2023Mac: /Users/[USER]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Team Projects Local Hub/2023 Best,UdoUdo Pawlik | Sr Software Product Quality Specialist | Adobe | upawlik@adobe.com
