Team Projects Completely Broken For Us

Right now we have one PC editing a team project and a Mac that has been having issues ever since we upgraded our accounts to CC for Teams last week.

Everything works perfectly on the PC, both are on the same network.

On the mac, usually project will open, and changes can be pushed and retrieved, then anywhere from 2-30 minutes later any pushes/retrivals will cause Premiere to hang at the loading screen for whichever action it's doing.

Right now, after loading a project most of the media is offline and when trying to get latest changes it displays the following forever unless I hit cancel.  Then when trying to save it displays the same screen and makes it so I have to force quit premiere.

The only resolution before the media offline problem started, was to restart the computer several times and randomly Teams will start working fine again, then it will fail randomly.

Any ideas?

    Hi @Clockwork Andrew,

Sorry to hear about the frustration you encountered when using Team Projects. My team and I are considering a move to Team Projects. Are you still having trouble opening the project mentioned above? Have you abandoned Team Projects or has the situation improved? Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Best,

    Kevin

    Hey Kevin,

We've been using it constantly since the update on the 20th, it appears Adobe fixed all the bugs we were encountering.  So far it's been very smooth sailing and has been huge for our post workflow.

Overall the situation has improved considerably to the point where we feel very comfortable using CC for Teams in our workflow.  Everything works how it should.

    Hope that helps!

So far my experience in trying to resolve this problem with Adobe has been.

1.) 5 calls with tech support, all of which use screen sharing to turn sync on/off, log out of account and log back in and finally trying yet again to sync a project/open project/save project, all of which usually fail or fail 90% of the time.  They tell me it's beta, and can't help me.

2.) Escalate to tier-2 tech support, which I was told they would give me a call back within 10-24 hours... No call, that was around a week ago.

Tried CC for teams again today, and it works great.  Or at least it was, then my collaborator tried to open the project, which failed numerous times requiring force quitting, but then worked eventually.  He made some changes and pushed them, I received them and it worked.  Then I tried to exit and the process infinite looped.

Really not pleased with the lack of help from Adobe on this.

    Hi,

Sorry for the support experience you have had. I have escalated the matter to the team concerned.

Meanwhile we have released new builds on 20th Jan which has a lot of bug fixes. Could you guys please try that out and let us know if your issues are resolved?

    Thanks,

    Ramesh.

We have just had an issue where we lost a half day of editing, nothing backed up on the server (cloud) This is beta but its 100% broken.

This has cost us a lot of money, don't use this service until it's released properly.

Beta shouldn't be an option when it's this far from functional.

I just saw the following ad and I'm really baffled how Obscura Digital managed to complete a project on this when nobody on our team can even reliably open a team project in premiere, or if they do get it open, we have nothing but trouble getting syncs to save/upload/download.  So far I've heard nothing from Adobe on this and on the phone, tech support (after some basic troubleshooting) tells me "It's in beta, so we can't help you."

I'm just wondering why we're paying a premium for CC for Teams when the features are basically non-functional for us regardless of computer or network now.

Is there any solution to this at all?
