Unable to remove inactive collaborator account from Team Project

I am unable to remove inactive collaborator account from Team Project

The user has clips that are shown as being edited by them (see screen shot)

But we can not remove the user from the team project. The email account no longer exists and has no CC account associated to it, and I suspect this is why.

Is there some kind of admin force remove a user from the Team Project?
