3D PDF dimensions not highlighting when selected

Just updated to a new computer and working with Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20421.  When selecting a dimension in a 3D PDF, in my old computer setup, the surfaces associated to that dimension would highlight green.  With the new computer and updated Adobe, the surfaces do not highlight.  I have enable playing 3D and Multimedia checked and my preferred software renderer is DirectX9.  This seems to be the same set up I had on the old computer.  

 

Any ideas on how to get the surface highlighting to work?

    We are sorry to hear that the issue still persists, Would you mind collecting the Adobe CC logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html  , Procmon logs (Win Only) https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html  and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.

    A co-worker researched the issue a little more and discovered that I needed to deselect "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" in the Enhanced Security tab in Preferences.  Once I did that, the 3D PDF started working as expected highligting the proper surfaces.

    Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

     

    As you have the latest version of the application, try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

    Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

    You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

    Thanks for the reply Amal.  I tried repairing the installation as well as reseting the preferences as desribed in the link you provided to no avail.  The surfaces still do not highlight when selecting an applicable dimension.
