a few users open their Adobe Pro 25 version 25.001.2019 and they see a "punch hole" like 1 pixel icon on their screen which must me manipulated to open to regular or maximized size. Cause and solution?

Not unlike an app running off screen in a way but it is not off screen.  It is on one of their monitors just extremely small about 1 pixel in size and only looks like a ‘dot’ or perhaps a ‘hole punch’ icon.  If you click on it,  it closes.  You cannot manipulate it easy enough to maximize the icon and there is no rhyme or reason for it to open this way.  Nothing the user seems to have done other than launch Adobe Pro.

    Hello @RSJ State of Ohio

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you using the Acrobat desktop version app or a mobile app? Could you please share a screenshot of the window you get? What is the version of the OS installed?

What version of Acrobat is installed? The latest build of the app is: 25.001.21265. Planned update. Mar 02, 2026. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > Help > Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

We’re here to help, just need more information.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

Adobe Pro 25.001.2019 64 bit win 11 desktop app.  Adobe already knows about the issue - just can’t seem to provide any useful information.   See the article already in Adobe community - PDF file opens minimized and can’t maximize | Community

This just happens occasionally when someone starts up Adobe.  It is not running off screen needing to be moved back - it just opens up as a minimal 1 pixel icon that end users quickly get frustrated with trying to figure out why and how to fix.
