Acrobat and Reader will not launch PDFs on my Mac—blank white screen. Started about 2 weeks ago. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled most recent as well as past versions. No success. PDFs are not corrupt. I can create them from other programs and share them with others, I just can't open them on my device.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open the PDF on MAc and get the black and white screen.

- Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the PDF is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer first and check

- Check for any missing/pending updates for Mac OS and display driver and try updating it and reboot the computer once and check.

- Also, please try to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

If it still doesn't work please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
