By the way, I figured out you can go back to the old Adobe Acrobat by selecting the top menu and Selecting "Disable new Acrobat". Portfolio printing works still in the old version.

I thought i'd looked through the menu, however i missed the disable feature 🙂 This is awesome, hate the new look especially when creating and printing portfolios which i do alot of!!

I guess turning off the new features is still the only fix? Why hasn't this been fixed on the new verison yet?

This problem was so frustrating.  Thanks for this post, disabling new acrobat worked for me!

Amen to the "disable new acrobat" feature. The best feature to maintain workflows. Just had my Deputy ask me a question for printing the school's reports from portfolio. Has been using the function for years. It is totally inefficient for a Deputy Principal to be manually clicking print on hundreds of student reports. Usnig the print portfolio function is an amazin workflow tool that should never have been forgotten or removed. Stop changing things that work. Add new functions, don't stuff up old functions.

Having the same issue. Really messes with my workflow when I have to print 50 files individually instead of using the Portfoilio feature to print. I really like having all the prints come out separtely, especially when mailing files for separate accounts.

Yep, that was it! Amazing how everything "new" ends up being a complete POS. I'll take "leave it as it was" over "it's new but doesn't work" any day!!!!

Hi @mattg9065003

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20244 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and check

Also please go through the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works for you.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal

I have the same issue on my PC. The issue is only with portfolio files. I am unable to print the portfolio, but can print each individual file. The "print" button is greyed out on the portfolio page.

The error is only with "new acrobat". If I click "disable new acrobat" I am then able to print the portfolio.

Hi there

Sorry to keep you waiting.

Would you mind collecting the print logs as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-print-logs-for-acrobat.html and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the logs, create the link  and share that link with us for further investigation.

Regards
