Question

'Add text comment' not displaying properly

I often use the 'add text comment' feature for work however recently after I enter the comment and then click somewhere else on the document the bottom pixels of the comment disappear (see screenshot).  In the screenshot you can see that the 7.25 does not display correctly, but the 2.5 which is active shows fine.  I am using acrobat pro dc version 2021.005.20060 I have run the installation repair but the issue persists.

Hi Will,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the bottom pixels of the comment disappear when you click somewhere else on the PDF.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

As you have the latest version of the Acrobat DC installed and you have already tried to repair the installation with no luck. Please try to reboot the computer once and see if that helps.

Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works for you.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal
