Your screenshots look like a scanned PDF with some text above the “images”.

Hi @Rick27474169bh5i

Hope you are doing well, and I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue.

Let's go through some steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Is this Issue Specific to One PDF?

    • Try opening a different PDF file to see if the problem persists. If it's isolated to one file, please share it with us for further investigation.
  2. File Location

    • If the PDF is on a shared network/drive, download it to your computer and try opening it locally.
  3. Check Acrobat Version

    • Verify you have the latest version (23.06.20320) by going to Help > About Acrobat. If not, go to Help > Check for updates, then reboot your computer.
  4. Repair Installation (Windows Only)

    • Attempt to repair the Acrobat installation from the help menu.
  5. Reset Acrobat Preferences

    • Follow the instructions here to reset Acrobat preferences to default.

Please try these steps and let me know if the issue persists.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.

Hi there,

Please go to Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Under rendering , Select 'Use local fonts' > click OK and reboot the application and check.

Also, try to do Save as other  > OPtimized PDF > Under, Fonts Check for any unembedded fonts  and try to retain those fonts > Click OK and reboot the application and see if that works.

Also, please share the PDF file in question for checking at our end.
