Question

Adobe Acrobat is not recognizing my PIV card

I'm trying to sign a number of documents with my PIV card. The card is recognized by my laptop, but when I try to create a digital signature, I get the following message: "Adobe Acrobat could not find any new digital IDs. If your digital ID is on a hardware token, please make sure it is plugged in and the token interface is properly configured."

If my laptop is able to read the card, I'm not sure why Acrobat is having issues.

Those are the steps I previously tried. My card is plugged in and it is recognized by my laptop, but as I mentioned in the original post, when I try to create a new signature, I recieve an error stating "Adobe Acrobat could not find any new digital IDs".

Hi there,

We are sorry to hear that. Please check for any missing/pending updates for the PIV card driver and try updating it and see if that works for you.
