Adobe Acrobat Pro - Preflight isn't installed

Question

Hi,i have this problem. We deploy Adobe Acrobat X Pro (Adobe CS6). Preflight doesn’t work. So i got this solution (here). It works but i must manually go to every computer to install/modify Preflight. Is there a solution more suited for the IT? I (we) have to go to a lot of computers to cover this?

Acrobat X has been end-of-lifed a long time ago (Nov 15 2010), so it’s not a big surprise that you are running into issues. Becasuse of the age of this system, there is a good chance that there is no longer any documentation on Adobe’s web site available for this. However, if you have any chance of finding something about automating the install process, it would be in the Enterprise Toolkit: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/

If you’re deploying Acrobat X through CS6, you should handle Preflight as part of the deployment package rather than installing it manually on each PC. You can use the Adobe Customization Wizard/transform or the installer configuration to include the Preflight component, then redeploy it through SCCM or your normal software deployment tool. That way Preflight is installed automatically on all machines instead of having to visit each one.

You should also check the CS6 deployment package’s Exceptions folder, since Acrobat X was handled separately in some CS6 deployments.
