Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.007.20099 Cannot Hide the Toolbar

Question

Hello. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.007.20099. When trying to hide the toolbar on the right, it doesn't work. Went to Edit - Preferences - Documents - Remember current state of Tools Pane.
I put a check mark there and clicked OK. I got out of the pdf file and opened it again and it still doesn't work. Please advise,

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and reboot the computer once and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check .
