Adobe Acrobat X Standard will not update

Running application on Windows 2008 Server R2

Get error: Update failed Cannot establish a connection. Please try again later. Error: 140000

I need to update this product because of a security vulnerability. Please provide instructions so I can bring it to the latest version.
