Adobe DC Pro slow when zooming in on page area

Hi all,

Has anyone else been experiencing issues when using Adobe DC pro, and more specifically when trying to use the 'Prepare Form' option? I've never had it before, but when zooming in to work with fields, the refresh rate is exceptionally 'laggy' and if you try to click on a field before all fields in view are visible, the whole document goes through a refresh of fields, top to bottom - takes about 45+ seconds to perform. And checked my PC, it's fine - no known issues and everything works fine! have attached a short video clip by way of demonstrating the issue....

Thanks

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the the Application is slow when zooming in on page area when using prepare form option.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check?

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the version 21.05.20058 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer.

Also go to Edit (Win) > Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page Display > Under Rendering, uncheck 'Use Page Cache' > Click OK

If it still doesn't work, please try to reset the Acrobat Preferences as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there.

Regards

Amal

Hi there

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or all the PDFs? Please try with a different file and check.

If its a specific PDF file issue, please share the the PDF in question and a small video recording of the steps you are doing so we can try to replicate the issue at our end and check further.

Also, make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20615 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
