Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

I think your edit is fine, Sonic.

If you'll allow a nitpick, I would remove the words "any and."

I'd say too much text. Boil it down to 3 simple steps.

IF you are getting a docbox.api error in Acrobat 5 then:

    1) IF you are using Windows 95, delete all instances of docbox.api on your computer.

    2) IF you are using Windows 98, NT, ME, or 2000, download a new version of the docbox plugin: http://pdf.intertrust.com/support/ .

    3) IF all else fails, if you are still getting a docbox.api error, delete _all_ instances of docbox.api from your computer.

(Search for the file "docbox.api" on all your hard drives, select them, and press the Delete key.)

    Cheers,

    Sean

As I can see the DOCBOX.API problem does not bother only myself. Hopefully the solution is that easy as described above.

Bold face the word Note and make it ALL CAPS. That way maybe 25% of the people with Win95 just may see it
