Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

My girl friend is right here, waiting for the dinner I am making to be completed. In addition to being an Acrobat expert, I am also a gourmet chef. Multi-talented little S.O.B., ain't I?

    >I hope you didn't send it to his yahoo e-mail address. He hardly ever reads that.

    >Why don't you guys have dates?

Okay, I still had it, and I sent it to your PDFCreations address.

Now, it IS Saturday night. Why don't you guys have dates?

I hope you didn't send it to his yahoo e-mail address. He hardly ever reads that.

Yes, I have another one for him, or I used to. I'll see if I can find it.

I sent Chris a message. We'll see what he says.

I recommend getting his permission and then edit it a lot; re-write it.

If you could clear up the grey-box post, I think it would make a world of differences, especially to newbies and the "reading-challenged." Besides, not everybody gets the same addictive kick out of this forum that some of us (me) do ;?).

I wonder if Chris would be too terribly upset if I edited his post a little??

The reason ol'Chris did not mention that the updated docbox.api doesn't work with Win95A or B is that, at the time Intertrust provided the update, and Chris posted this link, no one knew it didn't work until several people with Win95 tried it and dicovered it did not eliminate the problem.

    Yeah sonic:

That has actually been mentioned in the past.

    1) If you are using Win95A, don't bother. Acrobat 5 doesn't support it.

    2) Everyone else, delete all instances of docbox.api on your PC.

    3) Try once to download and install a new docbox.api.

    4) If the problem persists after downloading the new docbox.api, delete all instances of docbox.api and get on with your life.

    Cheers,

    Sean
