I did try those steps, and it still crashes with opening of new documents (every 4-5 documents).

As Rave says a console log would be good to have.  Also a question for those having issues after upgrading to Yosemite.  Has anyone tried to reinstall Acrobat??  If yes,  are you still having issues?

Yes,  Acrobat is a mess with yosemite

Here is a sequence of steps that always causes a crash:

1)  Search for something on the pdf file

2)  While the search window is open, hit an arrow button.

The spinning mac ball will start, and after 30 seconds acrobat crashes.

This is not the only way that acrobat crashes.  It is incredibly annoying.

I'm finding the same (I posted the same question earlier today) - it has continually been crashing since upgrading to Yosemite. Apple Support hasn't been able to help yet. I hope someone here can....

Hi Leinui,

If possible please provide your console log. Follow steps mentioned below to get the console log:

a. Launch Console(/Application/Utilities/Console)

b. Clear all messages(using Clear display option)

c. Launch Acrobat and wait for it to close

c. Once Acrobat closes, save the console log(File-Save a Copy as). Please paste the log here.

Regards,

Rave

I am trying to send you the crash report, but the system won't send it-even when I paste just the top portion.  Any other way to get it to you?
