Blank pages in Adobe Acrobat

On MacBook Pro and using Adobe Acrobat. I downloaded a large file from the internet (400 pages). When I open file, everything is there correctly, but when I go to do a search for a keyword using "command + f" after about 20 pages in the rest go blank and stay blank. 

I've forced quit and removed and reinstalled. problem still perissts.

Any help?
