Both the PDF app and PDF documents do not open up

Question

Hello, I have tried to open today several pdf documents as well as the Acrobat rdeader app and they all fail.  I get error messages saying that Windows cannot find my docs in C:.... indicating the folder and my document.  I contacted Microsoft and they uninstalled Windows 10 and reinstalled it successfully with all updates.  I have also uninstalled and installed again Acrobat reader.  The same problem persists.  I cannot have any other solution to this problem.  Please help.  It is urgent!  Many thanks

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the application does not open and gives you the error windows cannot find the docs in C

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding?

You may also, refer to a similar discussion (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/windows-cannot-find-c-acrord32-exe/td-p/8835378) and see if that works for you.
