BUSCAR: Ignorar signos diacríticos y acentos

No funciona la opción de búsqueda sin acentos cuando la habilito desde las preferencias. Creo que esto sucede desde la última actualización. A alguien le pasa lo mismo?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also, share the sample PDF file with us for testing at our end.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20244 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that helps.

Hi Amal,

 

I'm afraid it's happening with all the PDFs. I used to search without taking accents into account until last week. And it is crucial for me since I have really large documents and need to find words fast (in spanish), so sometimes accents become a problem when there's a misspelling and I end up missing the word. I have the latest version (it is marked as "updated"). I would really need someone to check this with spanish text and latest Acrobat version, but again, this is only happening since last update.

Hi there

 

I double checked the screenshot that you have shared and found that you have disabled the setting to ignor diacritics and accents. Please go Edit > Preferences > Search > and Select 'Ignore Diacritics and Accents' > Click OK and reboot the application.
