Can't copy and paste retaining format from PDF to MSWord

Until 3 days ago, I was able to copy a table or a bunch of paragraphs from a PDF file and paste them into Microsoft Word while maintaining it's original formatting. Now it copies only text and strings all the text together. Selecting the Paste Special options in Word doesn't allow formatting to remain. I was able to do this on Monday 4-8-2024 with no problem but cannot do it today on Thursday 4-11-2024. WHAT CHANGED? I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC x 64.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and its working fine.

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20643 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
