Cannot print signed PDF

I am trying to print a copy of a signed PDF, but am unable to as I keep getting error message "The document could not be printed."  To be clear, I am the author/creator of the PDF. I have tried printing as an image, printing to pdf, saving to my desktop, all sorts of workarounds, but nothing is helping. I get the security features are helpful, but if you cannot print the document, particulary one of which you are the author/creator, then there are issues that need to be fixed. As a law firm, we MUST be able to print hard copies of agreements, even ones where the signatures have been electronically done and validated. This issue is ridiculous and from what I can tell, LOTS of adobe users are complaining about the same issue. If I create a document and send it to someone to sign, THEY SHOULD NOT be able to lock the document so that I cannot print or edit. What say you, Adobe?

Did you apply a security policy to the file, beside signing it?

No, I did not apply any security policy to the file before I sent it out to be signed.  I believe the signer locked the document when they signed, which is a feature that Adobe allows signers to do to prevent editing of the document, but this shouldn't prevent printing of the document. That is the issue I am having. I don't want to change anything about the document, just need to print a hard copy.  This seems like a glitch in adobe's security feature. And I get that some will say printing a validated signature will not show the validation mark, but that is ok. I still need a paper copy showing the signatures.
