Charles Schwab brokerage unwilling to accept Adobe Acrobat digital signature

Hello Community,

Anyone know on what basis Charles Schwab brokerage would accept an unauthenticated wet signature on a scanned .pdf document rather than Adobe Acrobat's authenticated digital signature?  Tks//
