"Extract pages" always selects the first page of the pdf

Acrobat Pro recently started to select the first page of the pdf when I try to extract pages. This is a problem if, for example, I want to extract pages 135-200. Is there a fix coming?

Detail the process you use to extract the pages.

open the pdf, navigate to the page(s) I want, click extract from quick tools menu

the page I’m on is highlighted, as well as the first page of the pdf

this is a problem since it:

1- requires extra clicks to deselect

2- is difficult to manage when working in a large pdf

this is new behavior and acknowledged by Adobe in other threads

Since that gets you to Organize Pages, go there first and select the page(s) you want. Your first selection will deselect the first page.
