Version 2023.003.20201 is absolutely terrible!! Who decided to change the UX and UI of this app? It was perfectly fine. Now it's unusable. How does one go back a version? I should have turned off my auto-updates. This is a very dissapointing update in every possible way. Would love some info on my request. Thank you.

I want to thank Kodak for helping me, they gave me instructions how to remove the current version and links to last years version. This version broke multiple plug-ins and so many other issues with how it ran. I cant even use any  Plug ins with a 4k monitor since over a year ago. At least last year the Plug ins would run on Non 4 K monitors. Adobe needs to be more aware of what the users needs are and work with companies like Kodak that have Prepress plug ins that are for printing. Adobe, let us know when this is fixed.

I keep seeing instructions to turn "disable new Acrobat" but I don't have that option? I'm pretty sure I saw that option a few days ago but it is now gone. And we can't install previous versions? This seems like some kind of a joke. Remove the scrollbars and then they laugh at us while we try to get our work done. WTF adobe?

If you have a Time Machine backup you can restore the old Acrobat from that. Make sure you quickly disable automatic updates if you want to keep a functional Acrobat, with scroll bars!

I've been trying to save a file for an hour.  SERIOUSLY! All I'm trying to do is save the *&#$ing file.

Is there a HELP phone number or chat anywhere on the Adobe sight?  This is ridiculos.

I agree!  Absolutley HORRIBLE.

I agree. I am super disappointed with it. I spent literally an hour searching for the page thumbnail feature. I also want to revert back. This version is terrible.

This is an example of change for change's sake.  It is virtually unusable!  I cannot resize an image or even move one by dragging it on the document. I have to use the arrow keys.  Half the time the edit text works weirdly or improperly.  Organizing pages is a mess.

I have no problem with an update but do it incrementally and make sure things work!

Thank you so much! It's awful and I too have lost hours of my work day trying to switch it back - thanks for the solution 🙂

I love all things Adobe and have been a customer since they hit the market. That said, I agree with you on this Acrabat "upgrade"-this is an epice blight. I cannot imagine their customer base suggesting that they hide all of the tools they need and then get reall happy about digging for them-finding that some are eliminated. The response that Adobe is hoping we grow to love this is just not a response. It is actually a dismissal. You can do better than this and have done better than this.

Totally agree, I had to abandon a piece of work as couldn't work out how to find menu items that wee easily identifiable previously. Frustrating experience.

Why did you not revert to the old UI?

Abambo.    It is almost impossible to find out from Adobe how to revert to the old UI.  Your responses are too smart-alecky.  Instead of posting rhetorical questions, how about you provide solid solutions?  Eg you say "why did you not revert to the old UI?".  How about saying HOW TO DO THAT?

AnandSr1 and Amal (Adobe employees) responded "we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive and get more out of Acrobat".  How dare they?  This is saying "too bad that you're the paying customer... you will have to put up with the unusable software we feed to you".  I paid a lot of money for the Adobe Acrobat Pro CC/latest version - and it is highly unsatisfactory.

You can revert to the old interface view.

Abambo..... I paid for the Cloud Version to get the supposedly latest and greatest updates.  Suggesting I can go back to an older version is NOT the point.

i agree with john! i become less efficient when editing pdf, because before i could edit in smaller window, but now i should expand the window more! because the shortcut button blocking the document in smaller window, it cannot be hidden or moved! then the menu for edit, combine, organize etc also cannot be hidden while im typing the document. please go back to previous UI.

btw in case ure wondering why i need to put my adobe in small window, because i need to open 2 documents at the same time, therefore by splitting the window into 2, one for adobe acrobat pro to edit the pdf, another is for other apps, so i dont have to alt tab. so now after the new UI, i should alt tab, im not happy.

You can revert to the old interface view, but the latest version of Acrobat allows moving the toolbox that is disturbing you.
