Version 2023.003.20201 is absolutely terrible!! Who decided to change the UX and UI of this app? It was perfectly fine. Now it's unusable. How does one go back a version? I should have turned off my auto-updates. This is a very dissapointing update in every possible way. Would love some info on my request. Thank you.

I want to thank Kodak for helping me, they gave me instructions how to remove the current version and links to last years version. This version broke multiple plug-ins and so many other issues with how it ran. I cant even use any  Plug ins with a 4k monitor since over a year ago. At least last year the Plug ins would run on Non 4 K monitors. Adobe needs to be more aware of what the users needs are and work with companies like Kodak that have Prepress plug ins that are for printing. Adobe, let us know when this is fixed.

I'm not a computer geek ... I just want my old Adobe back, so I can edit Federal forms that I had saved with the older version.  Now, all I can do is view what I saved, but I cannot edit old entries, like text or figures. I think, but I have not confirmed, that I can still print a copy of my old saved files ... can anyone explain to me in simple terms what I need to do to drop the latest Adobe and reinsert the older Adobe version, so I don't screw up my computer in the process?   Thanks

Good luck with that. I, for my part, like the new interface for the moment. If you want to go back to the old feeling:

GO TO MENU, SCROLL DOWN TO DISABLE NEW ADOBE.  GOES RIGHT BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION.

Agreed. New Adobe Reade UI sucks. Unintuitive. Bad design from a "design company." I feel your pain, John.

100% This new version is an utter nightmare. The tools are all over the place; the ones I need and use the most are not obvious because they are buried and then, if I do find them, they also look different. I cannot even begin to fathom what possessed people to make these changes. I am wasting my time using this product.

I absolutely hate this updated version of Adobe Acrobat! Stuff that used to take me seconds now I can't even find it is a horrible version!!!

Absolutly horrid, non-intuitive, awful....who in the h.. throught this was a good idea?  Did they conduct user usability testing?  I doubt it.    I've been a loyal Acrobat user since version 2.0 and this is absolutly horrid.  Reverted within a week after having put up with the new UI for a long as I could.   Could't find tools, menus were non existant and trash.

Again, it works fine for me. I love it. If you don't like it, revert to the old interface. For the moment, that should not be an issue.

As an editor who uses Acrobat to proofread and correct texts and layouts, this update makes it nearly impossible to do my work. Some of the most useful tools (like delete and insert are no longer included). I hope Adobe will take people's comments seriously.

Same here. I've only seen one positive comment AT ALL from a customer in any thread, and it was a "meh, it's a little better for me" while everyone else in the community were basically screaming out in opposition. I see no evidence so far that Adobe is understanding we are saying "no" to these changes.

I'm confused. I have 2023.003.20248 installed. The way it looks is the same as it always did in the last two years.

What are we talking about here? A comparison of a much older version and the current one?

Thats just the home screen you show there, open up a document in the old version and the new one, they are very different.

I'm really REALLY hoping that new attrocity was a beta and the "disable new acrobat" option was put in place for a logical reason. I've seen 27 years of design action, and I'm honestly struggling to ever remember a worse UX/UI than the one I've just experienced. Honestly Adobe, you've an app that is and will remain the market leader from not being broke or needing to be fixed. No idea who or where the idea of that new abomination came from, but I hope I never have to try and use it again. Appalling.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change; however, we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive and get more out of Acrobat.

We are actively working on all the suggestions, and we will address them with the highest priority.

As you get more comfortable with the new interface, please contact us with specific questions on tools, features, or functionalities. We’re happy to provide helpful resources and answers to your questions.

If your critical workflows are impacted, you can switch to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner of Windows and View Menu on MacOS

We will follow up with a detailed community-featured post, guiding you to familiarise yourself with the new interface and regular updates on upcoming changes.

Hey Amal, I think from the feedback on this oage, you're probably coming to understand the new UI sucks. People hate it. So.... when is Adobe going to do something to fix it and revert to the older UI?
