Illustrator to PDF

I updated last night to the new 2020 apps and now when I am saving my illustrator files to PDF for client review it is not creating the PDF as seen in illustator but giving me a page with an 8 grid copy of:

"This is an Adobe® Illustrator® File that was

saved without PDF Content.

To Place or open this le in other

applications, it should be re-saved from

Adobe Illustrator with the "Create PDF

Compatible File" option turned on. This

option is in the Illustrator Native Format

Options dialog box, which appears when

saving an Adobe Illustrator le using the

Save As command."

This has NEVER EVER happened before (throughout any of the previous updates) and the settings have always been the same. Is this happening to anyone else? What changed all the sudden?! Thanks for any help.

"saved from Adobe Illustrator with the "Create PDF Compatible File" option turned on."

Be sure to tick this option when you export the PDF.

,hi

Are you using macOS or a recent upgrade to Catalina took place in your computer?

What version of Acrobat pro are you using?
