Question

My Helvetica is bad.

My company used Helvetica Nueve Lt Std. When I log in to edit a doc, Adobe defaults the font to a condensed version. When I highlight to change the font to the original version, it changes it to a font I dont know what it is. The font is downloaded and listed as a font option. I had a co-worker use my log in on her computer to try it and it works just fine. I used her log in and the same issue happens. I have reinstalled Adobe three times. I have installed the font multiple times. My IT team is stuck. What is wrong with my computer or log in? Thank you.

Hi @Stevens Marketing

++ Adding to the discussion,

As the application is working fine on a different computer, Would you mind sharing the version of the application you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20215 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Thank you for your time.

I have version 23.0.

The other thing I should add is that when I have logged in to another computer, it was under my co-workers Windows log in.  That is when it worked fine.  I had my IT department looking into why my computer or Windos log in is not working.  We are getting know where.  Do you think the link you provide with the manual reset will work for this situtation still?

Hi there,

Please do try the steps shared earlier and let us know how it goes.

As there seems to be some issue with the Windows user account, please contact the IT team at your end and try to create a new test user account with full admin rights and try using the application there and check.
