New to Adobe Acrobat DC - How to create auto text per image used?

I am new to creating pdf's and I'm self learning. I have many images that I will use and I see I can use an image field. My question, I have text in the pdf that pertains to an image. Can I create something that changes the specific text, when choosing a specific image? If that makes sence.

Thank you for your help.

It depends on the specifics. How did this "text in the pdf" get there? Is it in a field or content on the page? What do you mean by "choosing a specific image?"  You mean choosing an image witht the image field?  Or something else.

Specific images that I have. I entered text (address, customer help #, etc) that is specific to the image I use in the pdf. I currently have 200 + templates that I use (in word), and would like to narrow this down to just a few if possible, using acrobat DC.

For instance, if I click in my image field and choose "Cactus Inc." image, I also need the mailing address for that image and a customer service #.

I have too many company images, to type in the details each time. My thought, is there a way to make it know details by image that I choose.

Sorry I'm bad at splaining myself 🙂

Thank you,

No. A script has no way of knowing the name of the image you selected as the icon of a button field, unless you do it in a completely different way, by first selecting the file and then importing it separately, but that would require a more complex script, and you'll also need to run it from a privileged context (ie, a folder-level script).
