New version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is a disaster

The new version of Adobe Acrobat is a disaster. It is so slow and allocates all resources on my computer. Is there a way to delete it and get the old version back? I don't know when this version was launched, maybe one or two months ago. Really annoying!

Try to revert to the Classic UI: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-interface/td-p/14052807
Consider the "new Acrobat" as a beta version, many features are still missing or half-implemented.

Hi @kenta71268711

Hope you are doing well.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Amal, my version is 24.002.20857. It looks like the version you mention is older, so as Adobe Acrobat Pro has been really good before the version I have now, I wonder how I can go back to an older version.

My OS is Monterey 12.6.9 and as the computer is not brand new I try not to upgrade to the latest OS as this will slow it down. The only problem I have is Acrobat Pro, no problems with any other software, including Creative Cloud.
