Once someone has signed the digital signature, no one else can continue to sign the document, and if you click the sign, it will tell you: The author of the form has specified the fields you can fill in. Click on any field to start filling out the form. i can only use stamp, but cannot sign on it. do you know how to fix it?

ps, the first one didn;t click the "Lock document after signing", so what should be the problem?

Hi Jeric,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

It is the default behavior of the application. The PDF gets locked for editing once the signature process is completed. In such case no further changes can be made to the PDF file. For more information please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/edit-signed-PDF.html

Hi Amal,

My user told me that he always does the signing by this way, never has the problem before.

so, if this is default, how to meet his request? there are several users need sign on this PDF folder. according to the guide :"If you’re expecting others to sign the PDF, don’t select the Lock document after signing option in the Sign As dialog box or the Sign Document dialog box." He did not select this one....
