Question

page numbers in the print preview do not correspond to the pages to print using Acrobat Reader DC

Why is it that when I'm trying to print something from adobe acrobat reader dc that the page numbers in the print preview do not correspond correctly to the numbers I should enter under Pages to Print > Pages:

so that if I enter the numbers according to the print preview then I get pages that I dont want printed and some that I do want are not? I hope this is just incompetence and not a kickback from the ink and toner industry

Hi there,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described above, page numbers in the print preview do not correspond correctly to the numbers entered under Pages to Print > Pages:

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF or with all the PDF files you try to print. Please try to print a different file and check.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? o check the version of the application please use the help article  here (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

make sure you have the latest version 19.21.20056. Go to Help > Check for updates.

Please try to reset the preferences to default as described in the help article here (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082)

Also, please try to repair the installation (For Windows only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.

Try to open the PDF in a web browser. Righ Click > Open with > Chrome and try to print from there and check.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal
