I have Adobe Pro 2017 Version, 2017.011.30196.  using Windows 10.  Many of my PDF's--not all--but many, go completely blank after I try to run text recognition in the document.  The first page is fine, but everything else is completely blank, except for the markups that I made in the document, like underlining, highlighting, etc.  I've tried updating the Adobe Version and uninstalling, and reinstalling, but the problem is continuing.  Please help!

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the PDF pages goes blank after you run text recognition on the PDF  file.

A new version of Adobe Acrobat 2017 is now available 17.11.30197. Please try to update the application from the help menu and reboot the computer once. Go to Help > Check for updates.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

If it doesn't work, please repair the installation from the help menu and check. Go to Help > Repair Installation.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
