Poor print quality of a photo within a PDF document when printing on an HP 8020 ink jet printer

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to print? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat/Reader DC and the OS you are using? To check the version, go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.01.2017X installed. Go to Help . Check for updates and reboot the computer.

Also, check for any missing/pending updates for the printer driver and firmware and try updating it.

Try to print the PDF as an image, open the PDF > Go to Advanced > Print as Image and see if that helps.
