Question

Prevent Default Shrinkage ? - Combining JPG's and PDF files -

I am trying to do something very basic.  Combine multiple jpgs into a single pdf file.  I had no problem until I was combing jpgs and a pdf.  When I click the combine button it builds the file with the jpgs at full size and  PDF file minimized on a grey background almost like a thumbnail.  I thought it might be conflict between file types so I converted the PDF back into a jpg and tried again, no luck,  file remained minimized.

Removed all details from the jpg file and tried again, file remained minimzed.

How do I prevent the pdf from minimizing itself when I combine files?

*this is not a file size issue.

Hi Christopher

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are doing to combine the files? A small video recording of the issue would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.11.20039 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to repair the installation form the help menu (Win Only) and check

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards
