"Remember current state of Tools pane" missing in preferences

Hello.

I miss the option in pereferences like it says in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/disable-right-hand-pane-in-acrobat-reader.html

Did i smoething wrong? This is how my options look:

Yes, I would like this too. Simply click on EDIT PDF and not have that big RHP fly out...

IE: Format/Objects/Scanned Documents/Etc...

I have the same issue. The setting "Remember current state of Tools pane" used to exist in acrobat pro, but now it does not. I also have to close the tools pane every time I open a pdf or deal with it being open even though I rarely need it
