"Shared by you" doesn't appear in Acrobat DC pro

I got a loaner PC and the "shared by you" and "shared with you" don't appear on the home screen of Acrobat DC Pro, as they did with my old PC.  Any idea why not?

 

I also am not able to open files in the Acrobat Pro DC app from Acrobat.Adobe.com list of my documents, where I can see the  "shared by you" and "shared with you" folders. Are those related?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

 

What happens when you try to open the files on the document cloud https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/ ? Do you get any error messages? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding. Also please try to log out of the application, reboot the computer, and re-login with the correct Adobe ID and check if that helps.

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20117 (Win), 20112 (Mac) Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that helps. Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

    I get the following error.

    When I talk to my IT Dept they don't know of any policies that would impact this.  I reloaded the program and still have the same problem.  I have the 22.1.20117.0 version. Deleting the preferences didn't help.  What else can I try?

    We are sorry to hear that. Have you tried to repair the installation from the help menu as described earlier? Also  try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.
