Software Won't Maximize

Using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, the software won't maximize to the monitor/screen size.

Clicking the maximize "square"in the top right of the software window, does nothing. Neither does right clicking on the square and selecting "maximize". F11 to make the software full screen does not work either.

Minimise does work.

Are you using multiple monitors?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Is this an issue with Adobe Acrobat DC or with other applications as well?

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20142 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only)

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works for you.

Hello Amal

This is an issue with Adobe only, all other applications are running fine.

Yes I have version 22.1.20142 installed.

I have tried the "Repair Installation"

This is a new installation from a download. removing preferences did not fix the issue either.

Hi Mark

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that the issue still exists.

As you have tried repairing the installation and resetting the Acrobat preferences with no luck, please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
