I installed Acrobat Pro 2020 on my company macbook. But the laptop got stollen last year. Now, I am trying to install it on a new macbook. But it fails with following error:

"The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer within 29 days to use this product"

Since the old laptop is not there any more, how do I solve this problem?

Just FYI, I followed steps mentioned here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/new-laptop-cann-t-register/td-p/15543153 last year itself. I only see one device added there which is my new macbook. But every time I start acrobat pro, it pops up with the above message.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Your Adobe license allows you to use Adobe apps on only one computer at a time and sign in or activate your account on up to two computers. You may get these error messages if you try to activate your apps on more than two computers. Additionally, you might receive these errors when your computer's licensing or activation data becomes corrupted or damaged.

Please go through the steps shared in the help article https://adobe.ly/4pCGIk2 and see if that works.
