Question

When hitting "Don't Save" on exit for a changed document, the "Save" button is highlighted

Curious if others experience this:  when exiting Acrobat and I have unsaved changes, Acrobat will prompt to save upon exiting as you would expect.  If I select "Don't Save", the "Save" button is highlighted instead (but the changes are *not* saved, as what should happen).  This freaked me out the first few times, but now I'm just amazed somehow this hasn't been fixed.  Do others see this?  Screen capture link:  https://streamable.com/vvrhu3

Hi there

I hope this message finds you well, and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern.

I’ve tested the issue on my end, and everything appears to be working as expected. To assist you further, I’d like to gather more details to better understand and resolve the problem you’re experiencing.

Could you please provide the following information?

  1. Operating System Version: Let us know the version of your OS.
  2. Acrobat Pro Version: You can find this by navigating to Help > About Acrobat. Please ensure that you are using the latest version, 24.05.20320.

To update Acrobat Pro:

  • Go to Help > Check for Updates.
  • If an update is available, install it and then restart your computer.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and reboot the computer and see if that works.

Hi Amal,

I Just reset preferences per the instructions in that link and rebooted, and unfortunately the incorrect behavior persists - same as in the video I linked to in the original post.  Perplexing.

If you have any other ideas I'm happy to try them.

Many thanks,

Todd
