I am trying to activate my acrobat 8 pro. I am perfectly happy with it and I am no longer a slave to new software. To continue to use my acrobat 8 pro, I have to take up a subscription. I am not willing to pay again for a new software when I paid a lo of money initially for acrobat 8 pro. Someone please give me an answer. Even microsoft does not cut you off because you do not want a new product.

no, you don't (as long as you have a compatible computer and you don't mind the security issues).

No point calling for support on Acrobat 8, 9, 10 or 11, they are all out of support. The activation servers for Acrobat 8 were closed down recently, which is bad, but happily Adobe made a version which does not need activation. Hi I am unable to activate my acrobat 8 pro. I cannot use it anymore. After going round and round support, I was direct to a page requesting a new subscription to acrobat DC. I want to use my acrobat 8 pro and I am prevented from doing so. Incidentally there is no phone number for UK support. How do I continue to use acrobat 8 pro
