    Please help us Adobe. We still have no fix for this other than rolling back the Adobe Acrobat client to 25.X

    @Tariq Ahmad Dar any update on this? I’m also having the same issue opening Adobe file from Sharepoint. Do not want to add company sharepoint library to Adobe. All this used to work by simply opening the file without this new prompt.

    We are experiencing the same issue with 2600.001.xxxx releases

    In our case we have the following registry values sets to stop the irritating “Open& Checkout, Open or Cancel “ dialogue box popping up every time a Sharepoint online / WebDAV pdf is opened

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]

    "bDisableSharePointFeatures"=dword:00000001

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint]

    "bDisableSharePointFeatures"=dword:00000001

    Settings these values back to 0 stop the reader complaining about the connector but the ‘open & checkout’ dialogue box comes back

    All was fine in the previous versions 2500.001.xxxx backwards

    Please fix

    Hi everyone,

    Can I ask - for everyone that is having this problem (we still are) - have you set these registry values in your environments prior to the new releases or not ?

    Many thanks

    Hi, it appered for the first time with the latest release about 2 weeks ago. Changing registry didn’t work, still not fixed. It happend after Microsoft and Adobe updates. Maybe MS would know how to fix it? Did you try them?

    Have a nice day.

    We are also experiencing this issue. How can we resolve this Adobe? This is ridiculous.

    The issue is appearing when opening PDF files from a SharePoint drive mapped using WebDAV.

    Hi @lencamat @macro_2799

    Sorry for the troubled experience. Sadly, we have not been able to reproduce the issue at our end.

    1. Could you share the video of the workflow?
    2. Also, is it possible to share Fiddler logs

    Thanks for reporting this issue and reaching out.

    I have uploaded a guide how you can reproduce the issue with screenshots. Is it clear please? If not, can we set a up call - MS Teams / whats up to make sure we understand each other?

    Exactly the same issue here, we’re rolling back to the last v2025 which seems to work fine.  Something must have gone wrong with the 2026 release.

    Hi @DWT-IT,

    Thanks for reaching out. And sorry for the troubled experience.
    Please let us know when you get this message. Is it when you open a file from SharePoint, or does it happen even when opening a file saved locally?

    In the meantime, could you try the following and let us know if that helps:

    Turn off SharePoint / Online storage integration

    1. Open Adobe Acrobat

    2. Go to Edit > Preferences

    3. Select General

    4. Uncheck:

      • “Show online storage when opening files.”

    5. Click OK

    If the issue persists, please share a video of the issue and help us with the following:

    This happens only when opening directly from sharepoint, We use sharepoint as a mapped drive this has only been a problem since the latest update from adpbe. it seems there is a new feature within reader that I just want to turn off.

    Version is latest 2026.001.21346

    Windows 11 fully up to date.
