I'm a total novice to this.  I have a recruitment website.  I want to create a newspaper style to place recruitments Ads on.  Customers will send me the advert and I will either enlarge it to a 12cm x 6.3cm box advert or a 1/4 page ad.  In 1 page 9 of the 12cm x 6.3cm would fit.  I may also want to put a 1/4 page advert on 1 page and the rest the 12cm x 6.3.  Please advise how to create a template and enlarge or shrink adverts I am sent to fit.  I would also like a barcode at the bottom of the page stating the cost.  Any help is greatly appreciated

As long as I remember myself I was holding a piece of paper and a color marker or a pencil. Always wanted to be an artist and paint.As a digital artist I tend to use brushes and paint as well. But what I love most is painting in my small studio . The smell of the paint..the mess I make while I paint. I posted some comments and then an answer to a question in the forum, but I deleted everything because I realized it was showing my real name and business email address (in the popup when I hovered over my name). I checked in a different browser that I wasn't logged into and noticed that it properly protected my name and email, but why the deception? What is with making it hard to know what others see? We should see ourselves exactly the same as others do in the forums.

I want to know that SVGView.exe program is freeware or not. It was installed without any notice about that.And Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0, is it same program with SVGView.exe?

Since the late 60's, people have been talking about how computers will enable us to have a paper free office.Am I in a minority in never being able to realise this utopian dream?No matter how i try i always find myself, making notes, (in notebooks) drawing sketches of layouts, (in sketch books) and prefering printed reference books to their e-reader versions, (when i can find one with large enough text).Does anyone else still prefer the old methods for ease of use, or have you found that dream of being paper free, (if so please tell me how it works!!!).

BACKGROUND: For those who don't know what Candy Crush is, it's an addictive part luck /  part strategy game made by King.com. The goal is simply to match like-colored candies & clear the board in x number of moves.  As you progress through levels you accumulate lives, boosters & tools that help you complete successive game levels. Optionally, players can purchase extra lives, boosters or moves if they want to.  Originally, Candy Crush was a Flash based online game.  Later they added an HTML5 version that was good but it didn't deliver quite the same user experience.   You can also download the game app from MS, Google and Apple Apps stores. Today King released 15 new Candy Crush game levels which they do each Wednesday. In an upset, the Flash version is nearly unplayable now. Hi allI'm a self taught Adobe CS6 Illustrator who has applied for countless jobs in the creative field over the past 3 and received rejection after rejection.I consider my work to be of a high standard as well as my understanding of the software, so maybe it's my lack of qualifications and In-Design/Illustrator knowledge that are holding me back, which is why iv'e decided to do some courses in CS6, In-Design and Illustrator.Before doing so, i'd like to know what qualifications employers look for on a CV.If anyone knows or have recommendations for courses i'd be eternally grateful. Some technology writers are commenting that yesterday’s announcements of the iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3, and Apple TV 4K move the ball down the field, but those products are team players in the same games. We’re reading tech opinions which basically say about yesterday’s Apple event as, “Big deal. There’s nothing new. It’s more of the same.”Is the best response to those commentaries, “Do we need a new game? We’re doing quite well with the games we’re playing. Shouldn’t we focus on improving our game?”

It must have been a while back that I started a thread saying that my desktop had died.  Since then it has never been 100%, and today it died completely.  A day of struggling with Windows Startup Repair loops, and Command Line tricks all failed to get it to boot, so I have had to reinstall Windows.  I know I decided years ago, that if you get into this sort of hassle, you are nearly always better going for a reinstall, but I was hoping to be able to leave it until getting a new build done.Even the reinstall fought me.  I was unable to get my box to boot from the USB drive, but it turned out that because I have a lot of drives, it will only show so many in the BIOS, and after disconnecting all but the windows drive, I could see and select the USB drive as boot option 1.  Windows 10 has a really cool install process nowadays, with friendly messages, and sensible decisions based on where you are.  Even after I messed up the keyboard language, it guessed I was

Do you work far from home?We have been investigating some great group health insurance plans. We tried to explain to a very helpful marketing representative, with a big-name insurance brand, that people who work in Northern Virginia commute back and forth between Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Knowing that this very friendly, very talkative rep was somewhere in the Midwest, we were not surprised that the line went silent. After a few seconds she said, “You’re telling me that you’re in Virginia and you’ll have employees who live in Pennsylvania?”  The line went quiet for a few seconds and she said, “Thaaaat’s going to cost you.” Then there was more silence. Then she said, “WHAT?!”… “That’s not going to cost you anymore at all.”… “Could this be correct? It says here that where you live people commute as far North as Connecticut and as far South as North Carolina?!”Of course, lots of people don’t drive from Virginia to Connecticut, 5 days a week.
