Adding personal fonts to Creative Cloud

I used to be able to add fonts I purchased by copying the files to "c drive: program files\ common files\ Adobe \ THERE USED TO BE A "FONT" FILE.

    Can't you install them on "C:\Windows\Fonts" ?
