Had a terrible experience trying to typeset my first document with Adobe Caslon Pro in Word. In Word Mac, 27 page all text document rendered to 70 MB PDF with Opentype features enabled, well under a megabyte with Opentype features disabled in compatibility settings for the same font. Opening same document in Word for Windows (both 2010 and 2013) displayed with incorrect (increased) line spacing and Opentype features (e.g. ligatures) disabled even though they were enabled in compatibility setting (they showed up when I opened the same document in Mac).

I would like to clarify, if these fonts exist in cyrillic version, and if yes, where???

I want to use HelveticaNeue Light in a psd file. I have tried activating it in Suitcase Fusion 4 and installing it under Windows (Windows 7 Ultimate). I have restarted Photoshop several times and I deleted C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport as a possible solution. I have no idea what the problem could be.I even tried searching for fonts that are appearing in the list to see what's the difference compared to other fonts, but I didn't get smarter. I also deleted the preferences.It just won't appear in the list. I am sure it is a working font because I am using it daily in InDesign.I know of only 2 ways how Photoshop should be able to see fonts: Installing into the Windows fonts folder or Fonts management software. As far as I know it doesn't have a Fonts folder, like let's say Indesign. But still when deactivating all fonts in Suitcase and checking the Windows fonts folder, I saw that there are fonts in the Photoshop fonts list that are not in the systems folder nor activa

I am copying and pasting from Powerpoint into an InDesign document and the Chinese fonts, which normally work fine, show up as boxes. Hello.I am developing a Mobile game for Android, and I can't stop thinking about if i am in the clear when it comes to the use of fonts. I've searched the web, but can't really find a clear answer.I am using only font embedded in photoshop/illustrator, and only displaying them in static content, such as Images/logos. So my question is, am I in the clear, or do I need som kind for special license for this?FYI I am mostly using the MonoType Impact font. Hello,as you can read in the title I am currently developing an iPhone App. I purchased the Adobe CS5 Design Premium and already used it to create graphics.My question is if I can use Myriad Pro in my App and if I need to purchase a new license.The font will be encrypted in the iPhone App-file later and cannot be extracted. So it would fit "printable" and according to the font licensing-tables Myriad Pro is "editable". But I am unsure so I wanted to ask here first.RegardsPaul

Hi, I am a Designer and Animator. For experimentation I started a personal project a couple of weeks ago and made a unique cel-animation for every capital letter of the trade gothic font. As starting point I used the Adobe Trade Gothic LT font. After I was done with the animation I was pretty happy with my animations so I want to share the results on my website. So my question is if there is a license problem if I make the animated letters available on my website (one psd file for each letter with my drawing) for other people interested in this kind of animation. Since this is a project started for personal studies there is no commercial aspect involved.Any helpful answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I purchased Minion Pro a long time ago and love it, except ... it uses the ISO set of superior letters. I transcribe a lot of 17th- and 18th-century documents, and they use superior letters not in the ISO set. In Minion Pro Read Me it says that version 2.030 created 2007/08/16 has a full alphabet of superior letters. How can I upgrade from my version of Minion Pro without a full superior alphabet to a version with a full alphabet? --Thanks!

I am now on the free version of creative cloud. My paid subscription ended July 4th. However as of today, my typekit account says my portfolio plan is still active with my creative cloud subscription. Is the portfolio plan included with the free version? Or is this just a bug? I want to renew my typekit portfolio plan, but there is no option to do so. I don't want my fonts to suddenly disappear one day. Please advise.

I installed a very complete set of styles of an opentype font with Font Book – Mac OS X 10.9.4 – but when I tried to format a sample text on InDesign CS5.5 I noticed that I could not use the opentype features on the Open Type menu as I usually do.Could anyone help me, please?

I am still a little confused as to how the new Creative Cloud TypeKit works and how it will or will not effect our workflow. We currently use Extensis Universal Type Server (UTS). We have a team membership license for Creative Cloud. Does TypeKit interject itself before fonts are loaded from UTS? If fonts are downloaded to the desktop from TypeKit do I need to copy these into UTS? Should my users mix and match fonts acquired with UTS and TypeKit or maintain the status with UTS? Can you disable TypeKit if this is the case? How can we resolve conflicts with fonts if UTS and TypeKit are running? Do we need to purchase fonts now that with TypeKit the claim is all fonts from Adobe are free with CC membership? How does this interact with UTS? Does Adobe still sell fonts if TypeKit being part of the CC subscription implies the complete catalog is free? How are font licensing issues handled with TypeKit? Purchased this font from Adobe years ago.  Have transitioned to several computers but in moving from our old Dell with Win 7 to new  Dell XPS with Win 8.1 it asks for more than the two files that I transfer to fonts folder.Do I need to obtain this from Adobe?

Have tried to install Myriad Pro Fonts manually on a windows 8 & 8.1 machine with office 2013 64 bit but it seems that the office products like work, excel do not pick up the right font even though its comes up as Myriad Pro in the font list.I have logged this Microsoft as well but still haven't had much luck. In Office 2010 it used to work fine as it a 32 bit product. Print Preview Word 2013You can see that when printed it brings the (C) from Page 2 to Page 1. Whereas in Word 2010 it is fine, it will print exactly what is shown above.Any assistance will be much appreciated.Thanks

Since I became a member of creative cloud, my font book will not stay connected.  I have to re-enable all fonts every day.   I also do not have fonts that I had prior to using creative cloud.  Also, when I open InDesign files created prior to updated to the most current version of InDesign through creative cloud, I have to find the font.  please help
