I posted a question re. jpg vs psd, but typed jpt instead of jpg. Can an Admin please edit the Subject line for me?

The post said:

Subject: ".jpt not .psd"

"Why does PS Elements sometimes save my work as .jpg, rather than .psd, and what difference does it make to me?"

Thank you

PSD = native Photoshop file with editable layers.

JPG = compressed, flattened raster image typically used in other apps or on the web.

It looks like a moderator has already done that.
