Question

Adobe CS 4 Failing to Install

Good Afternoon All,

Recently upgraded to OS 10.5.6 in order to upgrade our CS3 to CS4.

I've tried 3 times to install CS4.

I get to the point where I type in the Serial number. I get a check (correct SN) and then the installer dissapears from my screen and winks out of the Dock. No warning. No Prompts. Nothing. Getting very frustrated. I have minimum system requirements. Running G5 2GB - 104 Free GB on HD.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Gene

Bad move. CS4 works perfectly in 10.4.11 it also installs perfectly and has none of the instability problems with Leopard. You will be better of going back to Tiger on your G5.

Also, as both CS3 and CS4 can cover a lot of different individual applications, I'd break it down to which ones do not install, i.e. Photoshop, or Premier Pro, etc.

    PS Good luck!
