Will this software work with Vista?  I have an opportunity to get a copy and would love to be able to use it.

    Well, you are in the wrong spot. This is the Adobe Premiere forum

    Now, Pr 6.0 is about five generations old. It will likely never function with Vista (anything). To give you an idea of how old it is, PrPro CS3 was the first certified Vista NLE. Some had luck with PrPro 2.0 and Vista, but not all did.

    If you plan on running under Vista, I'd go with CS3 (minimum and now discontinued), or CS4.
