Adobe Suite v. Cloud

I presently use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and was wondering what the differances is between the Suite and Cloud?

Pay a one time fee to buy discs for the Master Collection, or pay a monthly fee for the same thing

I haven't looked lately, but I think MSRP on the Master Collection is "something like" $2,599 while the Cloud is "something like" $50 per month

I believe you are more likely to find discussions about this subject scattered round the forums, but difficult to find, such as this one:

You may pick some of the words such as "creative cloud" and (perpetual) licence, and try a forumwide search (extending the search to all forums).
