We're working on new ways to access the Adobe User to User Forums.

Right now the primary way to access the forums is via the web using an HTTP interface. But it is also possible to access the forums as newsgroups (NNTP).

Hehehe. Well, it wasn't my beach. It was a nice one, though, with a bar and everything. For a brief moment there, I had a slice of the TommyG good life, instead of the Connecticut gotta go shovel sleet off my sidewalk life. Hehe.

I live at the beach. I don't need batteries. Just a long extension cord!

Indeed it did . . . I was so very disappointed the battery ran out so quickly (as it happens, I was the recipient of a second battery today, for which I did not ask ;?).

But the daiquiri still worked, right? Let's keep priorities straight here...

One last thing, last week in South Beach, Miami, I got to do a Tom Geschwender and sit on the beach with a daiquiri working on my laptop--until the 125th minute when Windows XP and my battery consipred to cause shutdown, apparently called "hibernation."

    LOL!

Aandi is awesome. I appreciate his presence and his help. And, I don't care whether or not he is occasionally sarcastic; I don't perceive he is but he has certainly earned the right many times over.

Barry, am glad to see you are convinced ( Barry Shaklan 1/17/02 1:23pm ). ;?) I think you'll find, if you hang around long enough, that we are a slice of life, not everybody will get along all the time. We are also human and imperfect. And, stupid questions do exist, there is such a thing, and many of them congregate in the Acrobat forums as a result of the demographics of that user base.

    >>These are everyday, regular (except for Tom heh heh) people<<

I'll have you know that, since I have been eating more salads, I have been quite regular, thank you!

    And the results are in:

4 hits in the Acrobat Reader forum, and 3 hits in the Photoshop Elements forum.

Barry, please AT LEAST spend some time helping other people FIRST before thumping on others who have been here for years day in and day out helping other people.

Well, I haven't been in the Acro/Reader forums for a while... but boy did I just see what I thought I saw?? ...Aandi being ratted on for having a bad attititude? Barry, I've never seen you in the forums before, and for your sake I hope this is a "newbie" error. Aandi is one of the most helpful people you will ever find in the forums. He has a reputation (with lots of history here) for being one of the most easy going guys you'll meet. I could count on one or two fingers the times he has even begun to come "unglued" at which points MOST of us would have gone over the edge!

On the note of "Adobe Employees" ... don't count on it. Especially in the Acrobat forums. These are everyday, regular (except for Tom heh heh) people who happen to have real-world extensive knowledge of Adobe's Products. They receive no pay/compensation to help out the TONS of people coming to these forums daily for help.

Now I'm going to go do a search on your name to see how many people YOU'VE helped before you decided to come thump on Aandi.
